Scope

1. Project Management includes Contractor’s Project Management, reporting and documentation of the services performed.

2. Platform underside access system (PUAS) includes the provision of an access system for the platform underside, while placing a strong focus on not causing any damage to the platform coating system. The entire PUAS has been structurally analyzed to ensure ideal load distribution.

3. Repair Coating includes the repair of coating damages on the platform underside and on the jacket above sea level. In accordance with the anti-corrosion system specification, the steel and plant components have been designed with an anti-corrosion system. Deficient initial coating and repairs as well as transport, handling and assembly work caused considerable damage. Transport and assembly damage is observed locally where coating has been removed and/or damaged by mechanical effects (scratching and scoring, corrosion attack, etc.). A detailed coating repair concept was developed. SeaRenergy executes the repair concept accordingly on jacket and topside underside coating damages and corrosion.

4. Replace Claddings includes the dismantling of the existing steel claddings and installation of a new GRP cladding system to protect the underside. The damage and/or the corrosion are spread over different components and they are based on different causes and corrosion mechanisms. Beside the replacement of Claddings, the project contains the rectification of the Connection between Flashing and Anglebar / Flatbar and of the ducts and casings with flat sheets.

5. Repair other existing components includes the inspection and repair of further damages on other components in the area of the platform underside. Following components are covered behind the claddings and not accessible without cladding removal. They will be inspected by Client’s Quality Control Specialist during the execution of the work.
